I am a clinical psychologist that is currently in private practice. I did my internship at Sterkfontein Hospital and then completed my Community service year at the Johannesburg Prison. I believe in creating a space where individuals feel safe enough to explore the many dimensions of themselves. I enjoy working with both individuals and couples, adults and adolescents. I believe that in any situation the entire system needs to be analysed. We do not function in a vacuum and therefore the individuals environment needs to be taken into account.

One of the areas that holds a very special interest for me is working with couples. With regards to the way I work with couples I am a trained Imago Relationship therapist and am passionate about assisting couples with their journey towards a better understanding and acceptance of self and their partner. This is achieved through the intentional dialogue which promotes conscious and effective communication. Communication is key to being able to feel understood and accepted.
