As a registered clinical psychologist I work with most disorders and difficulties. However, my areas of interest include adult survivors of childhood abuse, including sexual abuse; trauma and PTSD; relationship and interpersonal difficulties.

I obtained my MA Clinical Psychology degree with distinction from the University of Pretoria where I was trained in most therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and post modern modalities, i.e. systems and narrative therapy. During my training I have been exposed to and worked in various environments including in-patient settings, i.e. psychiatric hospitals and out-patient settings, i.e. clinics, hospice and prison.

Although I prefer to work from a psychodynamic perspective, I believe in meeting my client’s needs and tailoring my therapeutic approach to serve my client in the best possible way. I offer brief and long term psychotherapy which will be determined by the client’s needs and budget.
