I am a registered Counselling Psychologist in private practice in Durban North. I enjoy working with adults, adolescents and children for a number of psychological and emotional issues.

My areas of interest include:

• Depression, anxiety, bereavement and adjustment problems
• Marital therapy
• Play therapy for behavioural problems in children
• Parent guidance/counselling
• Career assessment and career counselling for adolescents and young adults
• Christian counselling

My therapeutic approach is mainly psychodynamic, but I also enjoy working more directly with clients using cognitive-behavioural therapy, narrative and more creative therapies, including art and clay work. The therapeutic approach that I choose is dependent on the client and the nature of their problems. I also incorporate biblical principles in therapy with clients who are seeking Christian counselling.
