I work with all couples, adults and older adolescents within a psychoanalytic and psychodynamic framework. I therefore understand psychotherapy as a process of increased conscious awareness of our unconscious feelings, needs, anxieties and fantasies, within the context of our current and past relationships. Increased conscious awareness provides us with information about ourselves, about others and about our environment so that we can grow, change and realize our full potential.

People are complex and unique. When we present with a symptom(s) or specific problem, the focus of the work is often much broader and more encompassing than the presenting problem. I therefore include specific areas of interest and experience, although the work is never limited to this only:
