Depth psychotherapy is for anyone who feels drawn to living life in a more conscious and integrated way. It provides the opportunity for a unique journey into increasing self-understanding, insight and integration. Within the context of the therapeutic relationship, psychotherapy offers a safe space in which one can explore the nature and consequences of ones wounds. It assists in processing and digesting the impacts of ones life experiences, in order that one can move towards a richer and more meaningful way of being within oneself, one’s relationships, and the world. It allows for growth, healing and the deepening of consciousness, all of which facilitate deep and sustained change.
About me: I did my undergraduate and honours studies in Cape Town at UCT, and my masters studies in Grahamstown at Rhodes. My life experiences took me quite directly, and early on, into the study of psychology/soul/the unconscious. This journey, along with my study of yoga, is an ongoing passion. My own background is predominantly Jungian, which means that I incorporate dreams, the unconscious, and the symbolic into my work. I live in Scarborough with my husband and daughter and work in Kommetjie.
