I have been a registered psychologist since 1991 and in private practice since that time. I work with adults and have a special interest in talking with couples who want to transform their relationships. I am always curious to discover more about the relationships that have impacted on the lives of those with whom I work - their relationships with the other people in their lives, their relationships with problems and their relationships with aspects of themselves. I work with people in order to change their relationships to anxiety, depression, fear, eating disorders and trauma.

I am also interested in working with people who have issues around weight loss and health and I do this work through the Healthy Weight Programme that is run by the Sports Science Institute as well as in my practice. For ten years I facilitated Life Skills classes and counselled students who had problems while working at a tertiary college; even though I do not currently work in an educational institution, I am nevertheless influenced by my educational background.

I am also the pioneer of a unique form of therapy which uses people's living spaces and décor as a medium for transformation. For anyone interested in this 'different' approach please visit www.insideoutsidein.co.za.

I work from my home in a relaxed, comfortable and private space. The qualities that I bring to the therapeutic work are warmth, empathy, humour, integrity and intelligence.
